Colorado Animal Rights Wingnut Ousted

Colorado voters in order to show how 'woke' they are, voted a gay animal rights vegan couple into the Governor's house in 2019.   Surprising no one, lefists took advantage of this to put animal rights wackadoos into power positions in the state to hurt as many animal owners as they could.

Case in point, Ellen Kessler.

As part of the long-term animal rights terror campaign, these activists have worked long and hard to convince average every day Americans and their corrupt governments that wolves are majestic, pretty, furry little dog-like critters that belong in the mythical wild.   Wolves are none of that.  They are apex predators who kill everything in their paths.   Serial killers who kill for the thrill of killing not because of hunger.    The entire goal of these ‘reintroduction’ campaigns are for wolves to slaughter and destroy livestock in their paths to force Americans to a vegan diet by removing as much meat from the market as they can.   Supply chain disruptions, burdensome regulations, wolf attacks, its all designed to take meat off your table.

Kessler was finally ousted when she blamed farmers and ranchers for their dead livestock killed by wolves, calling them “lazy and nasty ranchers/cattlemen” who are apparently too stupid to make a living at ranching and are using their cows to deliberately bait wolves to get money from the government.

Fine words from an activist on the government dole herself.

Kessler should never have been appointed to the State Board of Veterinary Medicine in the first place.  The animal rights movement at its core is radically opposed to allowing animals to live.   It’s a 40-year open secret that their core belief is ‘better dead than fed.’

"Today, I'm demanding that Governor Polis do the right thing and fire this extreme, unfit, and embarrassing appointee from the State Board of Veterinary Medicine,” Brown said in a news release. “Rural Coloradans have been under attack by the Democrats for years and it's unacceptable that degrading and false rhetoric about our farmers and ranchers from the Polis Administration should be ignored. While this type of language is now mainstream in the Democrat Party, I know that Coloradans deserve better."
Colorado Republican Party Chair Kristi Burton Brown

Others expressed the opinion that they ‘hope’ that Governor Polis will be a little ‘wiser’ about his appointments next time.  Really?  You hope so?   Others said, “who appointed her?”  Really?   You did by your ignorance of how government works.

Governor Jared Polis has been trying to destroy animal owners since he took office.  In early 2021 he declared a MeatOut Day in Colorado and promoted the meatless Impossible Burger.

You know what's in a hamburger?   Beef.  You know what's in an Impossible Burger?  A laundry list of highly processed chemical substitutes and saturated fats and oils.  Low in protein and high in soy.  Which do you think is 'healthier' for you?  Doesn't anyone remember the butter vs. margarine wars?   Guess how that turned out?

At the exact same time, Polis and his backers trying to get a ballot initiative passed that would outlaw common every day veterinary practices and make hundreds of thousands of owners into brand new criminals. As with all legislation leftists propose, the title is always the exact opposite of what it would do. In this case, Ballot Initiative 16 the Protect Animals from Unnecessary Suffering and Exploitation (PAUSE) Act for the 2022 General Election, would cause animal suffering and criminalize animal owners. It would make common surgeries like spaying and neutering a criminal offence. It outlaws artificial insemination, calling it bestiality. Funny how leftists all over government from coast to coast go to great lengths to protect pedophiles and rapists that hurt humans but if you AI your cattle to protect them from injury during breeding, that makes you guilty of bestiality.  Any farmer, veterinarian or just plain animal owner who assists an animal having labor issues and guides the baby out would also be guilty forcing owner to choose between saving the life of their animal or a criminal record.  Activists called it a 'citizen led' effort to hide its origins.

Those 'citizens' are the same ones behind the similar effort in Oregon, “Abuse, Neglect, and Assault Exemption Modification and Improvement Act,” (IP-13), that goes even further by outlawing the slaughter of all animals. If you can't kill it, you can't eat it. Welcome to Vegan America.

Time is long since gone when people can sit on their hands and just trust that government will take care of them and do the right thing.  Government is the rise of mediocrity.  The worse you are at your job, the higher you rise.

When you vote for two gay dudes, Polis and his boyfriend “First Gentleman Marlon Reis,” a vegan animal rights activist to show how woke you are instead of voting based upon who has the best qualifications for the job, you get what you voted for.  Tyranny and injustice.  When you vote for diversity over qualifications you get incompetence managing government affairs.  Coloradoans have no one to blame but themselves for the lack of meat on their store shelves.

Kessler's resignation isn't a 'win' for agriculture and animals.  Farmers, zoo owners, bird owners and general pet owners didn't get Ellen Kessler removed from government.  Her own big fat ugly mouth got her removed.  She'd still be on the board if she had learned to keep her mouth shut.

One of Polis's first acts after taking power in 2019 was to create a People for Animal Welfare (PAW) Committee which is largely populated by animal rights activists, not animal experts. He's already successfully outlawed all traveling animal acts, from circuses to educational children's shows. Now he's after the meat on your table.

Colorado voters are responsible for all of this.  When you vote based upon how many checkboxes a candidate qualifies for instead of their competence for the job, you get what you voted for.

When you go woke, you go broke.  To borrow a Leftist #Karen phrase, "Do better next time."
