Raging Judge Assaults Walmart Clerk

In the elite playground of the uber-rich, Fauquier Virginia Judge Jeffrey Parker is used to running his courtroom as his own private gulag.   Known for his courtroom outbursts in which he routinely belittles the common people who appear before him, Judge Parker has a history of making up his own law as he goes.   However, at long last, Judge Parker is finally on the receiving end of the legal system that his actions have warped.   On September 5th, Judge Parker was arrested for assaulting a clerk at a Stafford Walmart.

Judge Parker's Booking Photo.

Parker claims he found some jewelry in the Walmart parking lot and turned it in to store’s customer service desk.   There he demanded that he be given a receipt for the items so he could claim the property later if the owner wasn’t found.   Finder’s keepers may be a nice saying but it’s not the law.    All property has an owner and belongs to someone.   Whether you find a stray dog or a cheap necklace in a parking lot, they do not belong to you.   As a long time Judge approaching retirement, Parker apparently thinks he’s above the law.    When the clerk told him that store policy would not allow her to give him a receipt for property that was not his, he threw a temper tantrum, reached across the counter and played grab hands with the clerk violent enough to cause pain and then called the police when he didn’t get his way.    As if a lowly paid clerk is responsible for a store’s corporate policies?   When the cops arrived, the situation took a turn that this rage filled Judge wasn’t expecting.

After interviewing other employees who verified that Parker was aggravated, aggressive and had manhandled the clerk.   Parker was taken into custody on an assault and battery charge and released on bond.   He appeared with his attorney Robin Gulick in a preliminary hearing on September 19th to set his trial date.

Judge Parker has a long outrageous history of screwing over the citizens of Virginia.   Parker is ranked dead last in Virginia as literally the worse Circuit Court judge currently sitting on the bench.   155 of his peers reviewed his job performance and only 56% found that he had any knowledge of the law, only 55% found him faithful to the law, only 54% said he allowed lawyers to properly present their cases in his courtroom.   Last year yet another protest against his appointment to the bench took place in Virginia.

During the House Judicial Panel reviewing Judge Parker's position on December 2, 2016, victims of his bad rulings such as Greg Harrington, Deborah Napier and Valerie Garvey spoke in opposition to his appointment.  Yet once again, crony legislators reappointed him to another term knowing Parker is the literally the worst Judge Virginia has in a state already known for judicial corruption.

I’ve written extensively in the past about Judge Parker and his rulings against local farmer Martha Boneta.   I've written about Judge Parker's insane rulings taking children from parents that aren't even subject to Virginia's laws.  I wrote about his destruction of the Marterella Winery in my 2015 expose of Fauquier County.  I've written half a dozen articles about Judge Parker and his connection to the animal rights extremist movement.  He appointed local thug Hileary Bogley to her powers and then dismisses lawsuits against her when she’s sued for exceeding her power.

Speaking of the long laundry list of Judge Parker’s victims, shoved under the rug has been the family of murder victim Michele Mueller.  Beaten to death in 2001, she made two dying declarations to the paramedics and a Fauquier County Detective implicating her former boyfriend local sports journalist Christopher Jones in her death.   Prosecutors brought Jones to trial on murder charges claiming he killed Mueller because he wanted sole custody of their son and didn’t want to have to pay child support.   Investigators had painstakingly built a case over 15 months gathering over 100 pieces of evidence including hair fibers, blood samples, and fingerprints besides the victim’s dying declarations all pointing to Jones.   Judge Parker threw the case out and set an accused murderer free.    Who was the lawyer defending Jones in Judge Parker’s courtroom?   Robin Gulick.   A man who calls himself a powerful litigator on his website.  A man who is Judge Parker's own personal attorney.   In the years since her death, no one else has ever been prosecuted for her murder leaving her family and her orphaned son without any closure.

One of the people testifying against Judge Parker’s appointment at the December 2016 hearing was Valerie Garvey who has the neighbors from hell.   Neighbors who spent year’s illegally stealing timber from her land.   She tried many times to file criminal charges against them for criminal trespass and was shut down by Fauquier’s notoriously corrupt Sheriff’s Department.   Instead, Garvey claims corrupt cops tried to charge her with criminal trespass when she hired a survey company to prove that her neighbors were illegally logging her land.   Finally Valerie Garvey sued Allan and Susan Chacey for illegally trespassing on her land and stealing her trees.    Judge Parker refused to allow a timber expert to testify to the value of the harvested trees.   A tree that has no declared value is not a crime to steal and resell.     Judge Parker in a single move, destroyed Garvey’s entire case and made her a double victim.

Judge Parker refused to allow a timber expert to testify to the trees value and deliberately undercut her entire case.   In her lawsuit, Garvey asked to be compensated for all the legal fees that it took to finally stop her neighbor from illegally logging and damaging the road onto her land.  After a 3 day jury trial Garvey was awarded legal fees by the jury but Judge Parker also cut the jury award down by $110,000.

All I can say to Ms. Garvey is Welcome to Fauquier County, literally the most corrupt county in Virginia.    Her case, originally heard in Judge Parker’s courtroom was appealed all the way to the Virginia Supreme Court.    Virginia Supreme Court reversed the jury award due to the lack of timber testimony leaving Valerie Garvey to lose everything.   The Virginia Supreme Court claimed that Virginia law just wasn’t clear even though Virginia Code Code § 55-331 states that if any person, firm or corporation cuts  timber belonging to another, the owner has the right to a summary remedy for recovery of damages.  Section of the Virginia Code § 55-332 then sets out the “[p]rocedure for determination of damage” and the person who stole the timber must pay “any directly associated legal costs incurred.”    You’d think that was clear but Virginia’s corrupt courts bent over backward to find a loophole to say that’s not so.    After all, Parker's son presented the case to the Supreme Court while his Judge father sat in.   No conflict of interest there.  A month after the Court’s ruling, legislation was filed in the 2016 Virginia legislative session to amend this section of law and declare for all time that yes, attorney costs are part of this law.  Unfortunately it came one month too late for Valerie Garvey.

Another witness who testified against Judge Parker at the legislative hearing was Deborah Napier who said Parker had colluded with local lawyer Lorenzo Bean against her in a case that was heard in Parker’s courtroom.    Bean is yet another Fauquier good ol’ boy with a shady history.   His stack of cards finally came tumbling down when he was arrested in 2014 on six felony counts of embezzlement, one count of money laundering and later two counts of filing false tax returns.   It wasn’t the first time Bean’s been caught with sticky fingers.   The Virginia State Bar disciplined him in 2009 for ‘mishandling’ $60,000 of a client’s money that he had deposited into his own personal bank account.  Bean was finally disbarred in 2015 after admitting the charges against him were true yet at the same time, he managed to weasel out of the actual criminal charges which were dismissed on a technicality five months after he admitted his guilt.

After Parker’s long and notorious judicial career, Fauquier elite continue to protect one of their own.  The Fauquier Times (formerly the Democrat), wrote an editorial that had locals busting out in laughter.

Total impartiality?   Parker is a bully with a pulpit.   In fact, Fauquier County’s judges are ranked as some of the worst in the state.    A county in which the cops, the lawyers and the judges are all in each other’s pockets.  Fauquier protects their own.    A judge is supposed to be fair and impartial.   Judge Parker has a long history of being neither.     In Fauquier, if you have something the power elite want, whether it’s your land, your business, or if you have crossed one of them in any way, they drag you into their corrupt courtrooms and bankrupt you.

The chance this judge would ever be found guilty of assaulting some poor minimum wage clerk at Walmart is zero.  She should be commended for even trying to defend herself against one of the Fauquier power players.  Surprising no one on Fauquier, the charges against Parker were quietly dropped the minute the media spotlight was off.

Think about that one. The fact that Parker assaulted the clerk is not in dispute. He was caught on video. Yet the charges were dropped anyway. It gets better.

Just like that, he gets a clean record.

Does the Punishment Fit the Crime?

In an animal rights controlled America, animals have more rights than you do. In an animal rights America, you can murder all the babies you want on the taxpayer dime, but killing a stray dog that was threatening your life and that of your child is a felony punishable by immediate jail time. Is that justice? Does that punishment fit the crime?

The Commonwealth of Virginia in particular is dominated and controlled by the animal rights terrorist front. Their headquarters is the rural county of Fauquier. In my recently released book, F'cker County:  The Peyton Place of the Piedmont
, I document in at least four chapters the animal rights domination and control of the citizens by uber-extremist Hilleary Bogley and the suffering she has caused to numerous victims.

In Bogley's own ba
ckyard last winter a hunter, Howard Van Nostrand, defended himself by killing a stray dog he felt was a menace to himself and his 10 year old son. He has sworn that he was afraid for his life and that the dog was approaching him and his son with its hackles raised and its ears pinned back in an aggressive stance. He has sworn that he thought it was a stray and had seen it in the area all morning with another dog chasing wildlife before it came at him.

Once he shot and killed the stray dog, he found it was wearing a tag, meaning it was someone's dog and not just a stray. Van Nostrand immediately called 911 and reported what he had done. From the very beginning Van Nostrand took responsibility for his actions with local authorities and in the media. In his own defense, he claimed he was in fear of his life and that he shot the dog in self defense.   Never at any time has he attempted to evade justice for his actions.

Yet a
crime of this nature can't go unpunished in the hell hole known as Fauquier County. Locals were determined to destroy the life of this highly respected Doctor and now they have succeeded. Testifying against Dr. Van Nostrand were so-called text messages that a James Pinsky claimed he received from Van Nostrand about murdering the dog. It sounds bad, but the average person on the street wouldn't know that James Pinsky is an apologist for the animal rights front in Fauquier. He was sued back in 2013 by dog breeder Irina Barrett for his biased and highly inflammatory reporting that destroyed her life. James Pinsky is not a credible witness in any animal case.

After a public lynching,
Van Nostrand was convicted of two felonies for cruelty to animals and destruction of property.

If this dog was so irreplaceable, they why did the LeValleys allow this dog to roam at will on other people's properties? Why doesn't LeValley bear any responsibility for the fact that his dog was out chasing deer through other people's property for hours? For the fact that LeValley made no effort to ensure that his dogs were contained and remained on his property? The media reported that LeValley said he went looking for both his dogs who were both missing and looked in his horse barn to see if they were there. LeValley truly had no idea where his dogs were, and showed little care that these highly trained "
personal
protection" dogs were roaming the neighborhood potentially menacing anyone.  And if they were truly so highly trained, why were they roaming the neighborhood at will?  That tells me there was something wrong with their training.

Part of the training for personal protection dogs is to make sure that they "get the bite at any cost, on any level." These dogs are trained to scale ladders, to climb any obstacle to get the bite they are trained to do. Personal protection dogs are trained to protect people, cars, and property.  Was this dog acting in regards to its training to attack Van Nostrand in his tree stand?  The dog doesn't know where its owners property ends and another begins.  We weren't there and so we don't know.  But the fact that this dog was professionally trained as a protection dog does have bearing on this case.   These dogs are trained to bite and hold no matter what the circumstances.

Is it possible that this man was in fear of his life from a stray
dog and acted justifiably? Does it matter that this dog was professionally trained? Does that count in downgrading these charges to misdemeanors vs. felonies? Van Nostrand has taken responsibility for his actions from the very beginning but Fauquier wasn't going to allow that to stand. Van Nostrand tried to plead guilty but Fauquier wasn't going to allow him to get away without having the public spectacle of a public trial and lynch mob. If they could have gotten away with a public hanging at high noon in the local square, I'm sure they would have tried.

A personal protection dog in action.

Local experts have told me that Applejack has a bad reputation as producing dogs are a uncontrolled menace that don't hold to their training. T
he dogs are alphas who come back to their owners with very limited bonding. Hollering at a personal protection dog will make the dog go on the defensive and make it react worse, not better.  These experts say they are like police dogs, they will get the bite at any cost, at any part of the body.

The animal rights front has smeared the reputation of Dr. Van Nostrand and filed the internet with claims that he was angry that this stray dog was ruining his morning hunt and that he killed the dog on purpose.  They want you to think that this was some fluffy little family pet instead of a dog trained to take you down.  Yet, in Virginia, it is perfectly legal to kill any stray dog that is menacing any livestock in any rural area, just as this stray dog was menacing Dr. Van Nostrand and his son. This dog is not Fluffy, a beloved family pet.  This dog was a menace.

In order to shift blame, the dogs owners created a Facebook page for their dead dog to make Dr. Van Nostrand look more guilty than he is and to white wash themselves. They are even selling t-shirts for their dead dog to benefit local animal rights groups.   Since when does a dead dog equal fame and fortune for the owners?   What truly grieving owner would be selling t-shirts?

Is it credible that the sole witness in this case, James Pinsky, has a reputation of selling people out to
the animal rights front and has been sued, making his testimony biased and potentially not truthful? Does it count that Judge Whisenant also dances to the animal rights terrorists tune giving him a bias in his rulings?

The facts of the case are
, you have one dog that is dead and one family whose lives are ruined forever by a felony conviction. The question is, does the punishment fit the crime? What would you do if an out of control professionally trained "protection dog" was menacing you and your child?

Was this "crime" worth two felonies? Or are there mitigating circumstances that make it realistic to say that a misdemeanor conviction was more appropriate?  Or no charges at all?
Why wasn't the dog's owner charged for his dogs running loose?

In the end you have:

1 dead dog.

1 man who will never work again in his life. He has lost all of his occupational licensing and as a convicted felon, he'll never get a job... He'll be lucky if he can even flip fries for a living now.

1 man now struggling to support his family, wife and children under the burden of a felony conviction.

1 man who will never legally vote again.

1 man who will never be able to hunt again.

1 man who will never be able to exercise his 2nd amendment rights ever again.

What is the justifiable sentence for killing a stray dog? What if this was a pit bull who was menacing your child?   Why was this Doctor sentenced to two felonies?  Because its Fauquier County.  The most corrupt, out of control county in Virginia.
The biggest menace to Virginia.  And the biggest menace as it turns out to Dr. Van Nostrand.

Virginia Legislature to Commend a Terrorist?

I've seen some bad legislation in my lifetime, but the recent bill filed by Delegate Micheal Webert (HR 57) to give official state commendation to an animal rights extremist really takes the cake.  It seems to me that after all the bad press that Hilleary Bogley, Holder Trumbo, the Piedmont Environmental Council and Fauquier County has brought to Virginia in the past several years, do we really need more?  Does Virginia really need to continue being a laughing stock of the entire nation?

First some back history on Delegate Webert's bill HR 57, in 2003 the Virginia legislature put a halt to the "Humane Investigator" program because of the massive abuse of power these private animal rights vigilante's were displaying on a regular basis.  In a legislative compromise, just a handful were allowed to stay in power.   That was a huge mistake.   One of the handful who was allowed to retain her powers is Hilleary Bogley of Fauquier County.  Since that time, Hilleary Bogley has been the subject of numerous exposes' written about her continued abuses of power.   I personally have written two books, Staring the Dragon in the Eye: The Hidden Victims of Animal Extremists and my recent book released last summer:  F'cker County: The Peyton Place of the Piedmont exposing her activities.   Both books are full of stories of the abuse of power that Hilleary Bogley has committed against Virginia citizens and have been well received throughout this world.

Delegate Micheal Webert speaks in HR 57 how Scott District Supervisor Holder (Harold) Trumbo nominated Hilleary Bogley for a county award and that's why the state should as well.  What he doesn't say is that Holder Trumbo is famous for bullying and threatening county residents who object to the abuse of power by him, PEC, Hilleary Bogley, et. al.  Things came to a head when Trumbo threatened all the counties residents and claimed that any critics of him and the long standing campaign to harass the threaten farmer Martha Boneta would need a bullet proof vest.  People from across this nation were outraged and demanded that the County censor Holder Trumbo.

In addition, I have written two nation-wide articles about Hilleary Bogley and the corrupt Judge who backs her abuses of power, Jeffrey Parker.   Part 1:  Virginia Animal Owners Have Much to Fear and Virginia Bureaucrats Bending the Law to Suit their Agenda.   Both of these articles go into the recent litigation when Hilleary Bogley was sued both in federal and state court for committing crimes against Virginia dog breeders by illegally taking their animals away from them, lying about the conditions the animals were in, and abusing her position for her own personal gain.

"These conduct of Bogley and MHF described in this complaint is outrageous, shocking to the community, reckless, willful and wanton, oppressive, and with such malice as to evince a spirit of malice or criminal indifference to civil obligations, against the legitimate rights of Barrett and with conscious disregard of his rights, and are done with gross negligence, and with knowledge or consciousness that injury would result from the acts complained of."

Additionally, Hilleary Bogley has acted as a "hit man" for the Piedmont Environmental Council, and Patricia Thomas, and was part of an attempt to frame organic farmer Martha Boneta for fraudulent charges of animal cruelty.   Patricia and Phillip Thomas have been sued by Martha Bonata for their decade long harassment campaign against Martha and recently the Thomas's attempted to use the "affluenza" defense for the lawsuit against them.

This bill needs to be retracted in its entirety before Virginia once again becomes a laughing stock for attempting to commend the life of an animal rights extremist and criminal.   Hilleary Bogley deserves to be condemned to a prison cell for her crimes against state residents not commended by the Legislature.

You can contact the Virginia State Legislators and express your outrage at this continued abuse of power and whitewashing of the power players who attacked Martha Boneta here:

Virginia House Delegates

Time is of the essence.  The Virginia legislature could vote on this bill any day now.   Please contact the legislators listed in the links above and express your outrage at bill HR 57.

UPDATE:   Delegate Webert's legislative aide, Robert Melvin responded to this story and has declared that commending the life of Hilleary Bogley is simply "tradition" in Virginia because Fauquier County has done so and Delegate Webert is simply following tradition.   As I told Robert Melvin, "We the People" are not satisfied with that answer.

Serial Bully Holder Trumbo nominated her simply because his daughter works for her and he's giving political payback.  That doesn't mean the entire Commonwealth of Virginia should do the same.

In Fauquier County it is tradition to:

1.)  Pass ordinances outlawing their wineries (currently being sued for that), should the Commonwealth of Virginia do the same as "tradition?"
2.)  Prosecute chicken farmers for their chickens making too much noise.   Should
the Commonwealth of Virginia do the same as "tradition?"
3.)  Harass local farmers like Martha Boneta and use the power of government to destroy them. Should
the Commonwealth of Virginia do the same as "tradition?"
4.)  Prosecute 40+ year old business for being 'illegal' if they can't find their original 70's era permit.  Should
the Commonwealth of Virginia do the same as "tradition?"

Really?  There is no amount of crime and harassment that can be put forth against anyone if its "tradition" to simply follow along like a lemming and do what the next guy has done.  The response of Delegate Webert's legislative aide is even more outrageous than the original bill.

Should Martha Boneta continue to be harassed for the next decade simply because its "tradition" in Fauquier that she has been harassed for the past decade?

I think not.

Stafford Family Ruined by Animal Rights Terrorists

I haven't posted to this blog in quite some time now that I am nationally published on Joe For America and other sources, but a recent story of a terrible injustice out of Stafford, Virginia has me picking up my pen yet again to contribute here.

I have written long and hard about how animal rights ideology and the very terrorists themselves from that movement have taken over our legal system and perverted justice in America.   My home state, the Commonwealth of Virginia, is dominated and controlled by terrorists.  They control the Virginia legislature, the Attorney General, the Governor, the state Veterinary Office, the County Sheriffs, Prosecutors, and Animal Control Officers.  The Virginia State Legislature is so controlled and dominated by these terrorists that State Delegate Rob Bell is in fact famous for sponsoring and getting passed a new Civil Asset Forfeiture Law for Animals.  Every year someone in the legislature sponsors a bill to create an animal "cruelty" registry to list and out your grandfather for targeting by vigilante action.   I've written how Virginia Animal Control Officers receive their training from criminals, quacks, and sex perverts and have no knowledge or training on animals from actual animal experts.  I've written how the Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring has embraced these terrorists and formed a new group to destroy the Commonwealth's residents.

There isn't a county in the entire Commonwealth that is safe for animal owners to live in.   I've written two books on Fauquier County, Virginia, Staring the Dragon in the Eye, and my recently released book, F'cker County: The Peyton Place of the Piedmont, filled with cases of the animal rights terrorism front destroying animal owners in that county alone.  Just this month, the corrupt County Board of Supervisors gave a "Citizen of the Year" award to the most damaging animal rights activist in the entire northern Virginia area, Hilleary Bogley.  Bogley has ruined countless lives in her long campaign to end animal ownership.  She alone is a poster child for abuse of the Humane Investigator program.  It's not just Fauquier County, its everywhere in the state.

As the entire world knows, PETA is running rampant on the eastern part of the state stealing people's animals and killing them.  The Commonwealth does nothing about it.   People complain to Virginia state legislators endlessly, they don't listen.   PETA continues to kill.  Finally in 2015, the state gave them a $500 fine.   Big whoopie.  PETA continues to kill at their Norfolk slaughterhouse and the Virginia legislature turns their backs.  A poor family has now sued PETA for stealing and slaughtering their family pet.

In Frederick County, Virginia, the corrupt Sheriff and his pals raided a purebred Arabian horse breeder who was an equine certified veterinarian. The victim in this case was a horse expert. The Sheriff and Prosecutor used the Henneke Body Scale against the victim to declare that she was abusing animals. The problem is, Dr. Henneke has issued a public statement refuting the use of the Henneke Scale in ANY animal cruelty or neglect case.  The Sheriff was simply policing for profit.  This owner had valuable animals, and someone else wanted them.  A life was ruined for no reason.

"Over the past decade, the Body Condition Scoring System for Horses (BCS) has become, in many if not most cases, the sole reason for seizure for neglect or abuse. The problem with this is that the BCS was not designed to reflect the health or well-being of the horse."
Dr. Henneke.

In Page County, the Sheriff invited in a California based vigilante squad run by guess what? A high school dropout with no education in animals (but he loves strippers!), to help him raid a dog breeder. This group had no legal authority to come into Virginia and operate. Many of the stolen dogs were then shipped out of Virginia for resale.   As I wrote about in The Art of Terror:  Inside the Animal Rights Movement, in Virginia Beach, animal control brought a good Samaritan up on animal cruelty charges after she objected to their death rate at their shelter in a vicious form of payback.

Or how about Botetourt County, where a long time SPCA volunteer was brought up on animal cruelty charges because an animal rights veterinarian disagreed with her veterinarians diagnosis. Get that? She wasn't cruel to an animal. She was treating the dog in accordance with what her vet told her to do. In fact, this victim was so well loved in her community that local prosecutors refused to charge her. But don't worry, Michelle Welch, an animal rights activist out of the Virginia Attorney General's Office, stepped in to rectify that and filed charges anyway.

In Virginia, as of 2010, it is established case law that all dog owners are guilty of animal cruelty if they fail to brush their dogs teeth.  In Fairfax County in 2015, they have outlawed the use of a dog leash for more than one cumulative hour in a 24 hour period, making people who exercise their dogs, criminals.  It is now a crime of "animal cruelty" to walk your dog too much in Fairfax County.

Now in Stafford, Virginia, a family is in hell after the father has been arrested, tried, and found guilty of animal cruelty for failing to kill their dog, who was dying of terminal cancer, just as fast as some paper pushing bureaucrat wanted the dog killed.

Animal cruelty used to mean that a human being was being physically cruel to an animal.  That they beat an animal.  Mistreated an animal.  That an animal suffered actual physical damage as a result of a human's actions.  But today, under an animal rights world, the definition of cruelty has changed.  It was been twisted into something unnatural and perverted by animal rights extremists.  Under this new idea of what is "cruel" to an animal, every day American families are being destroyed.  Their very lives ruined for ideology.   Their families suffering.  Their children's lives impacted as they witness their parents arrested and put on trial for cases in which no animal was ever harmed.

Now in Stafford County a family suffers.  Their beloved dog, their families companion, was diagnosed with cancer.  You know what?  We are all going to die of something eventually.  Every one of us.

THIS is what happens when animal rights terrorists control the legal system.   This is what happens when a dog is no longer your property but some dubious ward of the state.  When you are your dogs guardian, not its owner.  A family is put through hell. A father gets a criminal record and can't find a job. Children suffer. For what?

Because some prosecutor who doesn't know the dog and never met the dog while it was living claims the family waited too long to put down a dog with terminal cancer??? How long is too long? The family says the dog was up on its feet and eating. Dogs are property in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the owner has the right to make that decision not some paper pushing bureaucrat looking to pad their prosecution rate.  In this case, this prosecutor is arguing over a four day period.  The prosecutor, who again, never met this dog while it was alive, claims the family should have killed their dog four days faster.

There was no cruelty here.  No human action can cause a dog to come down with cancer.   Cancer is a sad fact of life for animals and humans.   It is never an easy decision to choose when to have a beloved pet put down.   Caring owners want to give their pet as much time with the family as they feel they can.  No one wants to deliberately see a family dog suffer.  Do you honestly think this father deliberately made his dog suffer in order to let his children see that?  Of course not!  Only in an animal rights dominated world can such crazy thoughts even see the light of day.  These owners tried their best by their dog.  That should be good enough.

It is long past time that Virginia legislators stop pandering to animal rights terrorists and supporting the destruction of Virginia's families over ideology instead of science.  It is long past time that our legal system was restored to the rights guaranteed us in the Constitution.  It is long past time that terrorists and their fruitcake ideologies do not control our lives and touch our children.

Stafford County Prosecutor Jennifer Lindsey deserves to lose her job for giving a criminal record to an innocent man for no reason. She deserves to have her license to practice law revoked. She is a disgrace to her office and the Commonwealth.  It is time we stand up and say no more to these terrorists and shine the disinfectant of sunshine on their crimes.   The taxpayers of Stafford County pay Jennifer Lindsey's salary.  I believe they deserve an accounting of her time.

An Election Reflection - 2013

Now that it’s all over, I’m left to ponder the issue of targeted demographics.  Mainly because I have a pile of trash to throw away after the election that is spilling all over on my counter.   You see, I’m a targeted demographic in a hotly contested area.   The Commonwealth of Virginia just finished a heavily contested Governor’s race between two candidates and an extra.  You could say, two heirs and a spare, but Sarvis wasn't even that good.  As a targeted demographic, I got zero campaign mailings for the Governor’s race.  Zippedy-do-da Zero.  Which makes it even more interesting given the fact that Ken Cuccinelli almost won even though Terry “I buy my way to power” McAwful or Terry "I invest in dead people" McAwful reportedly outspent him by $15 million.   Think about that one.  Terry McAwful’s campaign threw around $15 million more than the Cooch to buy the election and I didn't get a single campaign mailing.  There’s some sort of message there.  I’m not sure what.   I’m sure the Data Mining Gods at the NSA have already reported to McAwful that I attended the last two LPACs.  Best not waste a mailer on her.  You know, because when you are throwing around $15 million spare ones, you can't spare a dime.

When it comes down to the Vice/Assistant/Lieutenant whatever’s position that used to be occupied by serial whiner and foot stomper Bill Bolling, a man that absolutely no one outside of Richmond has ever heard of, I got again, zero campaign mailers.   For the hotly contested and still not called, Attorney General’s race, I got two mailers, both from the “Southern Progress Action Fund.”   One said in screaming large letters, “Mark Obenshain.  Wrong for Women.  Wrong for Virginia.”   The other one said, “It’s Simple:  If Mark Obenshain Wins… Virginia Women LOSE!”   Really?  Lose what?   According to the mailers….  Mark Obenshain wants to steal all American women’s birth control… or all Virginia women or their birth control… or something.  I dunno.  As a woman this mailer assumes I’m too stupid to read through their agenda.  I loose! Or Lose!  Or something.  But what I do know is that the Southern Progress Action Fund is a brand new Democratic Super PAC, dedicated to getting Southerners out to vote their way.  Missed that demographic as well folks.  As any inbred Fauquier County resident will tell you, that woman is a Yankee.

The real spamming of my mail box came from the local state delegates race between Michael Webert and Colin Harris.   I've already covered that here and here.  But I have more thoughts I’d like to share now that its all over.  First off, while the fake Camo and Guns ad was truly my favorite, a hot and close second is dear “Penny P.”  Penny is a true winner.

First off, I might be a little harsh here, but is birth control really "Penny P."'s primary concern in life?   Perhaps Social Security might rank higher on her list?  I'm just spit-balling here but I'm willing to bet the farm that there just might be something else in "Penny P."'s life that ranks just a tad higher than this.   What this really tells me is that someone failed "Stock Photo Selection 101" when they made this ad.   If they wanted "Penny P." to truly be believable they should have selected a photo of some anonymous 20 something young hottie who maybe is truly scared to death that she was knocked up by last nights encounter in the bar and birth control is front and center in her hungover mind.   Now the Photoshop pro who put this together gets some kudos for selecting a photo of a woman who truly looks seriously unhappy, but birth control?  Nah. Not buying it.

What is truly frightening is that Harris actually won just over 1/3rd of the vote with his blizzard of campaign mailers claiming that Michael Webert hates women and wants to steal all our birth control.   What does it say for the voters of Fauquier County that he actually got this many votes when he had no real platform of his own and no job experience?  Harris pulled in $166,914 (as of 10/23/2013) slightly over half was from out of state sources.  As I wrote about earlier, actually over 70% of his donors were from Maryland, Washington DC, and California, but a massive donation from the Democratic Party of Virginia tilted his donation numbers back to make it look like he received more Virginia support than he really did.   Webert who got a last minute fundraising boost when all the Harris attack ads started surfacing, raised $146,955 (as of 10/23/2013), the vast majority of which came from in-state sources.  As of the last totals available Webert still had over $31,000 still on hand while Harris had spent almost all he had.  It was nice to see that Harris didn't win, but he still managed to buy a hell of a lot of votes.

I can't believe its 2013 and the Democratic Party still can't lie their way out of a paper bag but they successfully get voters anyway.  What does it take to inject critical thinking skills back into Americans?

A Battle for the Hearts and Minds of Fauquier

I am always interested in knowing how a 22 year old with no life experience thinks he’s going to be so helpful to me.   Colin Harris’s latest propaganda mailing which polluted my mail box yesterday focused on how Harris is going to find me a better job.  How nice!  I have two decades of work experience more than Mr. Dartmouth College, having started life by detasseling corn as a teenager, but he thinks he can get me a better job.  Super!  Maybe he means to provide me with a job at the Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP, law firm in Washington DC.  You know, daddy’s firm.

After all, the Virginia Access Project says, "Colin Harris reported a personal stake of more than $10,000 in the following businesses, partnerships, corporations and rental property" and that he was a "paid officer or director" of the firm as well.  Wow!  He's some go getter!  A paid officer or director in a law firm at 22.  For only being 22 years old, Harris is also quite wealthy.  Check out these apples, 'er investments.

It gets even better.  Daddy, while a Harvard lawyer, is also a special kind of lawyer.  He was formerly the chief legal officer for the Department of Energy appointed by President Obama.   He brags that he "began the Department's first systematic effort to enforce its energy efficiency regulations."  How nice!  I'm sure the regular employees of the Department of Energy love hearing that they weren't doing their jobs before.

Out of $115,607 in donations to Harris, it is interesting that only $8.001 has been received from Fauquier County residents (VPAP figures slightly out of date).   The largest amount of donations have come in from Washington DC, Maryland, and California.   Additionally, $36,800 in donations have come from the Law industry alone.  Just $250 was donated from agriculture.   What the hell does California know about Fauquier politics and economy?  Check out where the Harris contributors live.  Yeah, most of them don't even live in Virginia, let alone Fauquier.

Contrast this to Michael Webert.  He has raised $99,081.   For personal wages and salary Webert reports that he has been paid by the Culpeper Farmers Cooperative and that he is the general manager of his grandmothers farm Locust Hill.   His donations have also come from a wide range of interests from Business, Energy, Finance, Agriculture, Real estate, Health Care, Technology, and others mainly all Virginia groups.  Additionally, his financial net worth at more than a decade older than Harris doesn't even compare.

And what about those campaign supporters?  Turns out most of Webert's supporters live in Virginia.  The out of state contributions mostly come from relatives.

Again, the only major black mark on Webert's record is the "Va League of Conservation Voters PAC" an eco fringe group connected to George Ohrstrom.  Webert is the only republican to ever get money from that group.  99% of their donations go to democratic candidates.   Since PEC is playing both sides of the aisle in this campaign, that tells me they are nervous about all the exposes' that have been conducted on them this year.

But why here?  Why Fauquier?  Why has this no-nothing, done nothing 22 year old picked this race?   Yeah, he likes rockets.  So what!  Fauquier farmers and wineries are in the battle for their lives.   In the end it really has nothing to do with Fauquier at all.  The Democrats are looking to increase their control in the state and they carefully calculated how much of the Fairfax brain dead influence has entered Fauquier and might at last finally turn this county their way.   What it really comes down to is, is Webert as vulnerable as they think?   And has the Fauquier new money "We hate farmers" attitude destroyed Fauquier enough to throw a farmer out of office.

The choice this election seems to be clear.  A Marshall farmer with in-state and local support or the wealthy son of lawyers with the majority of his support coming from Washington DC, Maryland, and California.  It's your vote, you decide.

Politics in Fauquier is just as Transparent as Glass

I got a funny thing in the mail today.  I’ll get to that in a minute.  Let’s back up.  During the last election I voted for Michael Webert with reservations.   He seemed a likable enough young man but as we all know, many farmers in Fauquier are not real farmers.  I had reservations about Webert and whether or not he was a real farmer.   While he talked a lot about Angus cattle, he also manages a 3,500 acre thoroughbred racing farm for his grandmother which didn’t fit my definition of a real farmer.  My family arrived here with nothing.  They were not wealthy English families with thousand acre land grants from the King.   They arrived in the hull of a ship with almost nothing.  They did take advantage of the 1862 Homestead Act settling on 160 acre tracts of what had formerly been Indian prairie.  They were the first farmers to break the land for row crops.  Now that was farming.  The work was brutal, the weather harsh, and the lifestyle not safe.  .  No “slave” or indentured servant broke the land for them, they did it themselves.  Part of my family was wiped out in the 1862 Dakota Uprising near Mankato, Minnesota.  That is farming.  That was my family.   Webert won election to his first term and is now running for his first re-election.  Now I had already written but not yet published an article on his performance in office as a freshman.  I was not impressed with his filing of at least a dozen frivolous legislative actions wasting my tax payer money.  The Sheriff does not deserve any official legislative pat on the back for solving a murder case that the West Virginia police solved for him years ago.  Given the rivalry between Virginia and West Virginia, the Sheriff should be ashamed, not bragging, that West Virginia got our man but we didn’t.  An official Richmond thank you is nothing but pandering to a Sheriff that is widely loathed in this county.  I don’t care if these little frivolous bills are tradition or not.  I care about every single penny that is wasted in government because that's my money.   Well its election time and I still have hesitations about Webert, his background, and his job performance in Richmond.  To add to the fun, he was endorsed for office by a PEC front group.   That gives him a major black mark in his book in my mind.

But then the fun and games begins in typical Fauquier politic tradition.  First I noticed the Marshall area wallpapered with signs for a candidate named Harris.  A total unknown.   Webert lives in Marshall.  Now Marshall is full of the ignorant, the clueless, and they aren’t southern hillbillies as outsiders might think.   I have a whole bunch of neighbors that moved in from Fairfax who don’t know a lick about Fauquier’s long history of corruption and they have Harris signs in their yard.   Typical, they ruined Fairfax, moved out to get away from it and now want to ruin Fauquier (though Fauquier doesn't have far to fall).  It’s sort of like all the Californians who destroyed their own state and then moved out and started meddling in their new home states to make them more like California.  So just who is this Harris?  I had already received some campaign mailings from him, covered in fake hunting pictures proclaiming this Ken Doll looking candidate was some sort of serious hunter.   Great comedic material.  I love Fauquier! The County shenanigans make me laugh on a daily basis.  Turns out Harris, is a 22 year old son of two lawyers who is attending Dartmouth College majoring in government.  Great!  He's twice as useless.   The offspring of lawyers (which seem to wallpaper Fauquier) should be sentenced to working at McDonald's at minimum wage as penance for their background.  Do we really need any more clueless lawyers in government screwing things up?  Most of Congress are already lawyers and look at how inept and useless they are.

But on to today.  In today's mail I have a brand new flyer polluting my mailbox.  Right on the front cover is the following quote, "I am a lifelong Republican with deep roots in Fauquier County, and I believe that Democrat Colin Harris will give Virginians a government of which, once again, we can be proud."  Hope Porter.

Hope Porter?   Right next to the quote is a photo of Harris posing with the dear old bat.

I don't know what is funnier, Hope Porter throwing her support behind this guy or the fake L.L. Bean style hunter ad on the other side.  Here's Harris posing in camo gear that you can see the creases in.  Creases?  A hunter out in the field has creases in his camo?  What arty-farty yuppie irons camo gear?  Harris kills me.  I haven't see a propaganda mailing this funny in a long time. (Amazingly enough I haven’t received a single campaign ad for the hot state Governor’s race between sleazy Clinton Pal McAwful, the Cooch, or the young Libertarian running who’s polling at 10%).  His shirt looks to be straight off the hanger.  His hat is no better.  The blaze orange baseball cap also looks to be brand new.  Since I am no expect on fire arms I'll refrain from commenting on the rifle he's so carefully carrying but let's say that pose doesn't look remotely realistic and he gives off the vibe that he's afraid of it.  Every inch of him is spic and span spotless from top to bottom yet I’m supposed to believe this is some sort of image of him out hunting in the field?  Where’s the dirt?  An L.L. Bean catalog ad looks more realistic than this.

But back to the dear old bat.  If Hope Porter is against Michael Webert, then my first knee jerk reaction is that I am now 100% FOR Webert.

But the real question is, what is going on here?  Locals I'm sure remember the last elections and the brutal Peter Schwartz - Michele Noel race.   Slick con man and locally hated Peter Schwartz barely held on to his seat.  He is also a hard-core environmentalist Democrat along the lines of Al “Crazed Sex Poodle” Gore who runs as an “Independent” to get the vote in a Republican district.  I’m amazed how many clueless Marshallers fell for Schwartz the “Independent.”  Two elections in a row!  I did not vote for him.   Even though I knew absolutely nothing about Michele Noel, that automatically made her a better choice for the Board of Supervisors than Schwartz.   A dead tree would make a better Supervisor than Schwartz.  Hope Porter famously wrote a piece for the County Bird Cage Liner saying that no one should vote for Michele Noel because she, Hope Porter, didn't know her.  Seriously?

What the hell is in the water on Wildcat Mountain?  Hope Porter, her family, and pals have been behind trying to stop not only all development in Fauquier but also advocating to shut down the wineries.  Perhaps Hilleary Bogley the Fauquier Gauleiter should draw her eagle eye here since Porter’s daughter is a dog breeder.  Got a permit for that?  Fauquier is literally the most anti-dog county in the Commonwealth with neighboring Warren County running a close second (Botetourt is challenging their top spot).  Yeah, Warren County is notorious for hating dogs no matter what spin they put in the media.  What on earth is in the water around here?  Its okay for members of the Porter family to engage in this type of “business” yet everyone else faces receiving a letter from local zoning thug Kimberly Johnson threatening them with criminal prosecution for having a litter of puppies.

But back to Harris’s campaign mailing.  If the outside was a laugh a minute, the inside is better.  Fully one half of the inside features a large smiling photo of Harris himself, posing with what else?   Three women!  (would that be because McAwful is running on the campaign platform that the Cooch hates women?   When the Cooch has 5 daughters?) In fact every ad in this mailing where he is posing with someone always features a woman.  There isn’t another male featured on this mailing anywhere.  Additionally, the supercilious smirk as he looks at someone who appears to be speaking to him just leaps off the page.   It’s beyond obviously a staged photo.  If he looked like that at me in person I’d be tempted to slap him with a wet trout just to get real emotion on his face.

Harris’s campaign platform is even funnier.  He’s running on a campaign of 2nd Amendment, Birth Control Rights for Women, “ethics”, jobs, and “local control” of schools.    Doesn’t that sound lovely?   Obviously he missed the Constitution 101 classes that would have hopefully informed him that Virginia is a Dillion Rule state.   Good luck trying to change the constitutional organization of this state.   Besides which, didn’t our County high schools just announce they have the highest graduation rates in recorded history right now?  Just how is this smuck going to improve upon that?  Or is he just trying to buy the teacher and PTA Mom vote with this ad?  And hey, his sponsor, Hope Porter, is a one woman job killer all on her own so there goes his platform on jobs.   As for birth control, my insurance takes care of that for "free" these days.  I don’t need the government to interfere any more between my doctor and me.  They already interfere way too much.   Virginia government is not trying to take away your Birth Control, they are only trying to avoid a Kermit Gosnell situation.   Isn’t that a good thing?  Why the outright lie Mr. Harris?  The constant Democratic slander that Republicans hate women is insulting to me as an educated woman.  If you want my vote, flatter me with facts.

I hate the idea of voting for the lesser of two evils, because the winner is still evil.   But I think this Harris campaign ad has pretty much made up my mind for Webert.  I hate lies and fakery and this Harris ad is a fake from side to side. What else can you expect from a 22 year old with absolutely no experience in the world who already thinks the taxpayer owes him an elected seat in government.  Not on my dime Mr. Harris, not on my dime.
