The Good German Rises Among Us

It is a trite old saying that those that fail to learn from History are doomed to repeat it.   Trite, old, and true.   While the animal rights movement has its foundations in the Fabian Society in England, the vicious brutal animal rights movement we have today has its foundations in the National Socialist Movement in Germany.  The Nazi’s. The Nazi Party was notoriously made up of thugs, serial murderers, pimps, alcoholics, blackmailers, fences, crazy neurotics, and other degenerates of society. Is there anyone living today who does not know how that turned out? Under the Nazi’s, animals had more rights than Jews. Over 6 million Jewish people, gypsys, homosexuals, political opponents, and others were slaughtered in concentration camps and openly in the streets, while animals enjoyed protections humans were not entitled too. Animal rights activists have been advocating for the end of medical research since the Third Reich. Today activists scream that we should either experiment on humans, prisoners or use computer modeling. The Nazi’s already pioneered that approach, it was called Dr. Josef Mengele. He was a sick brutal evil man.

There isn't any industry in America today that the animal rights movement hasn't destroyed.  But one that hasn't had front and center attention is their program to destroy the American pet.  The core belief of these activists is “better dead than owned” and nothing shows that better than their march to wipe out America's pet animals.  Dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, other small exotic pets, and others.

The easiest way to destroy America's pets is to destroy the breeders to who produce them.  If you can't buy it, then you can't own and enslave it in their minds.   In the march to destroy all pet breeders and their animals in America today, the APHIS division of the USDA has passed an increasing set of regulations.  As the noose has tightened from the 70’s to today, the Good German among us has played along with the Uberfuhrers.  The animal rights movement has infiltrated local animal control positions, state veterinarian positions, the Attorney General’s offices in several states to include Virginia and many other government positions.  They have infiltrated many federal bureaucracies to include the USDA which they now hold in their iron grip.

It’s common knowledge in government that if you have to release bad news you do so at 4:30 pm on a Friday.   That’s when the fewest people will be around to hear it.   APHIS took a page out of that playbook and released the news about the newest round of noose tightening on America’s pets on the afternoon before 9-11, a time when the fewest people would be paying attention.

This new regulation affects dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, small exotic animals and other small pets.  The animal rights movement told the public it was needed to solve the problem of "Internet puppy mills."  They lied.  Remember, their movement was founded by the Nazi’s, the masters of propaganda.  Under this new regulation, if you own more than four females of any of those species, literally 1 mouse, 1 cat, 1 dog, and 2 gerbils, you are required to obtain a federal license or you are a criminal.  The regulation says four female animals total.  It doesn't say four females of each specie.   Your daughters hamster counts.

Now we must remember that the puppet masters of APHIS are the animal rights movement.  When they say, "Don't worry you can avoid our regulations by selling all your animals to buyers in public face-to-face meetings" they already know that such meetings are criminal in many areas.  In areas of California, it is a crime of animal cruelty to sell an animal in public.  The animal rights activists know about this criminal game of gotcha, they designed it, and they are the ones that got that California law passed.  For victim's of this movement your criminal record won't say you sold an animal in public, it will say you were convicted of animal cruelty.   You will be lucky to ever be hired for a job again for the rest of your life.  Additionally, your name could end up on the latest cruel animal rights joke, Animal Abuser Registries.  Just like Megan’s Law was a good idea in an ideal Walt Disney world and in reality has been a dismal failure that has not prevented abuse and has led to vigilantism, so too are Animal Abuser Registries.  Under the proposed legislation that was attempted in Virginia, not only would your name, home address, and home telephone number appear on a public tax payer paid registry leading to vigilantism against you and your family, but the Sheriff was required to personally inform all of your friends, family, neighbors, and employer that you are an “animal abuser.”   Now the Sheriff won’t have the information on your conviction and so won’t know your crime consisted of selling a perfectly healthy animal to a willing buyer in a public place, they will instead simply know the name of your offense, animal cruelty.  That is what they will tell your family, friends, neighbors, and employer.  Guess how soon you will be fired?  The Virginia legislation would have required the Sheriff to track and stalk you for 15 years.

The uberfuhrers of APHIS have encouraged Americans to step forward and self-identify themselves to them in this latest round of ghetto-izing the pet breeders.  I say this with pain in my heart as a German and a student of World War II.   Why are the Good Germans among us, doing it and marching lock step with our government thugs?  Why?  Why are you calling up the animal rights activists at APHIS and telling them all about yourselves, where you live, what you own, and how to come and get you? Why?

I've heard it all, they say, "but I've got nothing to hide, my life is an open book."

Yeah, and Jesus was innocent too.  He was crucified.  You want to try that again?  Even if you aren’t a Christian, have you seen the Harry Potter movies?  In the last two movies in the series there is a famous scene in which the evil wizards have taken control of the wizard government.  The new Prime Minister says, “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear,” as Voldemort's thugs haul away and imprison an innocent wizard who is suspected of not having “pure” blood.  This scene in a fictional top selling children's book is straight out of Nazi history.  Harry Potter dueled to the death to destroy evil and ultimately triumphed as his friends and family were killed around him. Make no mistake about it, even in this childrens series, good people died.  But in the end, good triumphed over evil.

They say, "I want the government to know what I have so they won't take my dogs."

Cardinal Richelieu (1585 –1642) said, "If one would give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest man, I would find something in them to have him hanged."  You want to try that again?

So you have self-identified to make sure your animals aren't taken from you by government agents, bless your heart***, do you understand that APHIS will publicly list your address on their website?   Do you understand that details of you, your home, and your animals will be available to activists by FOIA?  Do you understand that pictures of your home will more than probably show up on the ASPCA’s "puppy mill" website?  Do you understand that YOU will be slaughtered by your local community when they find out a "puppy mill" lives in their town?   Medical researchers in America have had to deal with pipe bombs under their cars for decades placed there by "peaceful" animal rights activists.   You want to be next?   After all, the activist movement will have all your private details.  They will know where to find you and you told them.  Bless your heart.

Other Neville Chamberlain’s have also come forward to help and assist the Good Germans.  One woman, a passive-aggressive control freak, runs a Dog Law group on Facebook constantly advocating that dog breeders have nothing to fear because her pal and buddy at APHIS, Dr. Rushin assures her that this is true.  Far too many Good German’s are falling for her appeasing tactics.

The average Walmart shopper of America today is such a low-information voter that they don’t understand that the animal rights movement is today’s modern Nazi’s, specializing in propaganda.  When your name appears on ASPCA’s internet list of American puppy mills, they will believe this.  It doesn't matter that you own the literally 1 mouse, 1 cat, 1 dog, and 2 gerbils of my example above.  No one will bother to look up those pesky little details.  They don't care about the truth.   You will have to answer to your angry neighbors when they read the internet propaganda that will be spread about you and your puppy mill which you will never be able to remove.

Sure that Q&A that APHIS put out contained some nice pleasant soft platitudes in it that you can still keep your animals in your home and they won't force you to remove them.  Do you believe that?  Can I sell you a bridge while I'm at it?  The Q&A is worthless.  It has no standing in a court of law.  It's nothing more than fluff and nonsense designed to distract you.   No APHIS inspector can authorize you on a "case by case basis" to violate the Animal Welfare Act (AWA).  The AWA requires you to remove those animals from your home.  End of story.   The AWA requirements for absolutely sterile prison cells are not compatible with any private home.  Your home is literally too comfortable for your animals to be subjected too, under the AWA.  Remember, the animal rights movement knows this, they designed this.  They don't want your animals to be comfortable, they won't want animals in your home.  They know that caring animal owners do not want to keep their animals in sterile concrete prison cells.  They want you to simply stop breeding pets, period.   If you stop breeding, then Americans have no pets to buy.  They have achieved their end goal and each one of you Good German's helped them along.

A Government For the People and By the People and the People are Pissed!

24 hours later, 24 hours of reflection, and I'm still pissed.   In fact, I'm even more pissed than I was yesterday.  As I think over the nitty gritty, the small print, the fine details, I'm even more pissed.  There is never a more important day to be pissed.  Today is 9-11, the day America was attacked by foreign terrorists.  But while we are focused on enemies from without, we completely miss the enemies within, the statists of both the right and the left who spend their days dreaming of ways to take our rights away.  And we let them.  The United States Constitution, which is the highest law of our land spells it out very clearly.  The federal government is tasked with just four limited and defined powers.  The power to make war, peace, negotiation and promote foreign commerce.  That's it!  All other powers are reserved to the states.  The vast majority of what our government is doing today is unconstitutional.

"The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined… (and) will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected."   James Madison, Federalist #45.

Does that resemble the vast behemoth we taxpayers are supporting today?   We are paying unelected bureaucrats to take our rights away.  As I listened to the APHIS/USDA teleconference yesterday, the animal rights activists dominated the call.  Over and over again they expressed to the APHIS bureaucrats by personal name, just how thrilled they all were with this massive regulatory overreach by APHIS.  Thrilled I tell ya!  Which means they already knew what it said.  Which means, while Americans had no more than 12 hours notice of this teleconference call and the resulting new regulation which has the power of law, the animal rights front already knew all about it and what would be said.  Right Kevin?  Dog breeders, exhibitors, cat breeders, rabbit breeders, all were taken by surprise by this sudden announcement just one day before 9-11.   Animal rights activists already knew it was coming.  And why not?  After all, they wrote it.  You can tell because they are all on a first name basis with the bureaucrats and representatives of three major animal rights groups all got through on the call while most of the animal industry was shut out.  It should then come as no surprise that the mother ship of animal rights extremists posted their gloating joy at the early Christmas present, at the same time as the APHIS press release.  Now just when did Whiney Wayne have the time to write, edit, and proof all of that if he had no clue about this Rule's release until the rest of America did?   Yeah, whatever.  Spray Tan Wayne, we aren't that stupid.

Now the final rule has not yet been published so I can only go with what was said in the teleconference and the newly released FAQ's.  But twice during the call, APHIS Airheads specifically said that dog show exhibitors are covered under this rule.  They also said ALL animals on a person's premises would be covered and counted.  ALL.  A breeder managed to get through on the call and told the government lawyers and animal rights activists listening (idiot) who she was, what she raised, and that she owned five females and her daughter owned three females, but that they lived in the same house.  Hey, want to tell the world your street address and GPS coordinates while you are at it?   The government lawyers said, we don't care who owns the animals.  We see them, we are counting them.  You own eight, you are covered under this law.  People you just don't get it.  The government does not care!  You are nothing but a number to them, nothing but a revenue source and that federal monster is hungry.  That government inspector who forces their way into your home in violation of the Fourth Amendment is going to count everything they see with a pulse, no matter what specie it is.  Destroyed Virginia dog breeder Jean Payne-Cyhanick already knows that.  She was caring for several of her daughter's dogs when state and local inspectors came looking.  They all counted and Jean was convicted of criminal charges for having too many dogs, failing to brush their teeth, blah, blah, blah.  Guess what professional dog show handlers, this means you.   APHIS said at least twice that dog show dogs are covered and APHIS doesn't care who the owner is.  They can see it, its counted, and you are out of luck.

I can hear handlers screaming, "I'm untouchable.  My dogs are healthy and beautiful."   Repeat after me, the government doesn't care.  When are you going to get it?  They don't care!   One brilliant commenter on the Internet said, when your head is in the sand, your ass is in full view to be shot down.  You betcha!

Now think about this.  The USDA maintains minimum cage size standards for "primary enclosures" and mandates that your business must be available for inspection during normal "business hours" 365 days a year.  Think about that one dog show handlers.  You aren't there.  You are on the road with your string of show dogs.  Which means you will have to provide your road schedule to the USDA just like any other traveling "animal exhibitor."  What's your dog's primary enclosures at a dog show?  Is that USDA compliant?  Hell no!  You think the USDA wouldn't come and shut down a dog show and go from exhibitor to exhibitor demanding to see your license?  Why wouldn't they?  Just six months ago, Jack booted thugs from the Rhode Island Environmental Police raided a Pedigreed Cat Show.  Men in combat gear armed with guns and tazers were interrogating little old ladies over their cats at a professionally sanctioned cat show.  Think that can't happen to you?  PETA, HSUS, and ASPCA are just drooling to raid a dog show.

The animal rights movement has already convinced a large segment of America and most of the legal system that all dog show dogs are mistreated and kept in cruel and inhumane conditions.  What you say?  You have Champions?  Let me tell you from personal experience, the animal rights moment doesn't give a shit about your Champions.  While you were off in your fancy goldfish bowl floating in the sky showing your dogs, oblivious to what is going on in the real world, the animal rights movement has been propagandizing to America that your fancy show dogs are mistreated.  You were oblivious.  You thought you were untouchable.  You were wrong.  Since all America heard was their viewpoint, guess what they believe?

But what about cat breeders?  Rabbit breeders?  APHIS said clearing during the teleconference that ALL ANIMALS that fall under the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) count.  ALL.  Thought this rule was about closing down puppy mills?  Think again.  Are those cat and rabbit cages used at exhibition shows USDA compliant?  There's a giant nail in the coffin of all sanctioned dog, cat, and rabbit shows.

Should you be worried about raid trucks as I said yesterday?  I don't really think so.  Animal rights activists are lazy.  They want to destroy you and they want your money but at heart they are lazy.  It's about power, money, and control. It's not about the animals.  Most activists actually hate animals.  So what will they do?  Why not do what they have already demonstrated that they are capable of doing.  Why not simply just send out an "enforcement letter" to you like they did to the Dollarhite Rabbitry, discussed in Rand Paul's most recent book.   Like the Dollarhite case, the letter will simply state that their judgement of you is final and issue a fine. No appeal.  The Dollarhites were fined over $90,000 for an alleged illegal $200 profit.  How much will your fine be?  Quick, easy, and painless for them.  The power and might of the federal government used to destroy you by paper.  I'm sure that uber HSUS animal rights lawyer, Sarah Conant, now Chief of the Branch of Enforcement at APHIS is already dreaming of the days....

Now Chief Deadhead Kevin Shea kept saying the costs to Americans who are covered under this rule will be minimal and just a one time cost.  He's right.  The vast majority of people who face a choice between removing all animals from their home and putting them in a sterile concrete kennel in their back yard and give up their rights under the Fourth Amendment will say no.  They will simply spay and neuter everything they have and retire.  No puppies for you!  After all, vegan Whiney Wayne ever so famously said, "One generation and out."  There you go.  45 AKC dog breeds are already facing extinction.  Just what do you think this regulation will do for that situation?  There might be those that are willing to consider building a USDA compliant kennel and maybe they have the tens of thousands of dollars to do so, but most zoning laws in America now forbid that.  The APHIS knows this.  Just try to get your local zoning board to approve your permit for a USDA complaint kennel, I dare you!  You will get nothing but public ridicule and the run around when you go before your local zoning board and all the animal rights activists in your community rise up against you and tell the zoning board they don't want no puppy mill in their town!  Who do you think the local bureaucrats will listen to?  Let me tell you, its not you.

What about the pet industry.  Shea says the costs are going to be minimal.  How long will it take before the pet industry notices a massive blow to their business?  After all, under USDA rules, soft plush "stuffie" toys are illegal to give to dogs and cats.  How many millions of those things are sold per year?  You think the industry wouldn't notice?  You think dog show magazines like the Canine Chronicle and ShowSight won't notice when all their advertisers slowly trickle away?  What about all the groomers who will eventually be driven out of business?  What about veterinarians who will have fewer customers?

The government doesn't care.  I can't say that enough.  You can attempt to appeal to their common sense, their empathy  and how your situation is "different" but you just don't get it.  The government doesn't care.  The cold hearted and clueless bureaucrats at APHIS don't care.  They have been on the firing line of the animal rights movement for decades and they don't care about your 15 year old dog you didn't spay for health reasons.  They don't care that you have been a professional dog handler for 20 years and have no other way to make a living.  They just don't care.

The animal rights movement is deliberately targeting the knowledge base of the dog breeds.  They are trying to wipe out that insider knowledge that you can't find in a book or on the internet.  Breed magazines run articles on the history of their breeds, certain dogs, and breeder interviews but that is still nothing more than the tip of the iceberg.  They have figured out that wiping out the knowledge base is the key to wiping out the breed.  You.  And APHIS is coming.  One generation and out is here.

The USDA Pounds a Nail into the Coffin of America's Dogs

I knew something was up. As I walked across the National Mall one day last week, a lurid pink bus passed me by. It was ugly. It was offensive. It was sponsored by the animal rights movement.  It's sole goal is to slander American dog breeders and force the USDA to violate the Fourth Amendment rights of everyone with a puppy.  They succeeded.

Next thing you know, here is the APHIS division of the USDA announcing a conference call.  With less than 12 hours notice, APHIS announces: "Please join APHIS’ Administrator Kevin Shea on a conference call tomorrow, September 10, at 12:45 p.m. EDT for an important Animal Welfare Act regulatory update." Isn't that nice of them? As if Americans didn't have something else they'd rather be doing at 12:45pm on September 10th. You know, like working?  Or getting ready for September 11th memorial ceremonies?  As if the government which is legally supposed to be for the people and by the people but can't give the people more than 12 hours notice?

But let's review. Now that APHIS has been taken over by animal rights activists from HSUS, they have been pushing hard to "close an internet loophole" for dog sellers. At least that's what they have told the public. Cue in lots of whiny music and sad eye puppies while a voice of doom says, "Puppy mills are taking over America." Yeah, like that is even possible in the Great Recession where 49 million Americans are currently starving and the President is counting his bomb stockpile like a kid at Christmas while eyeing Syria. But I digress.

In government bureaucrat speak its called revising and updating the "Retail Pet Store" rule or RIN 0579-AD57.  I call it the Fourth Amendment.  That pesky little provision that says our homes are to be safe from unreasonable searches and seizures.  According to APHIS what is now reasonable is, you dastardly criminal you!  You birthed a puppy!  How dare you!   Get that damned dog out of your carpeted house with its nice plush furniture and get thee into a sterile concrete kennel.  ASAP!   Because we are the government.  Because we overpaid useless bureaucrats at APHIS have never birthed a puppy in our lives but we are just sure that your home is cruel and abusive and all dogs belong living in sterile concrete kennels removed from human contact.  That's where they are the happiest.  We are from the government and we know best.  But its not just puppies.  Read the fine print.  APHIS says this regulation will cover ALL ANIMALS listed under the AWA.  All.   Its called mission creep for those not in the know.

This should come as no surprise, after all APHIS requested $29 million in its 2014 budget solely to raid, ah hem' implement this new rule.  They claim this new rule is required due to the invention of the Internet.  Who knew Al Gore hated puppies, and here I thought he was a crazed sex poodle.  Ignoring the fact that the Sears Catalog used to sell puppies decades before the Internet existed.  Yes, you ordered a puppy out of a Sears catalog and it was shipped to you.  Oh the horrors!  The inhumanity!  Where's the Animal Liberation Front protest of Sears' Headquarters?

APHIS:  We received 75,584 individual comments, 134,420 signed form letters, and 213,000 signatures on petitions submitted by organizations supporting or opposing the proposed rule. The comments were from animal welfare organizations, kennel clubs, breed registries, organizations representing owners and trainers of working dogs, not-for-profit animal rescue and sheltering organizations, animal transporters, purebred dog and cat fanciers, residential breeders of dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and other animals, USDA-licensed breeders, pet and pet supply stores, pet owners, farmers, veterinarians and veterinary organizations, horse and livestock owners and producers, raptor propagators, State governments, elected officials, including U.S. Senators and Representatives, and members of the public.   And yet they ignored all comments that weren't received from animal rights activists.

I listened to the conference call.  All of it. Every sickening bit.  HSUS, ASPCA, and DDAL animal rights activists chimed in to cheer on the government raid force!  Go get them puppy breeders now!  Erase them, eradicate them, shut them down!  No American deserves a dog!   Okay, they didn't say that.  But they did ask, just how soon can you get started?  And they dragged their comments and questions out, counting down the time on the conference call so that very few others could ask any questions.  Nice tactic!

There on the phone, I was forced to listen to bureaucrats shit regulations out of their ass and they couldn't answer even the simplest of questions.  When challenged on what exactly IS a breeding female? A question breeders have been asking APHIS since 2012, just how do you determine what is a breeding female?  What is the age limit?  What?  Is it a one day old puppy that has the misfortune to be born a female?  Is it a 15 year old grandma we didn't spay for health reasons which we discussed with our veterinarian?  What determines if its a breeding female?  How do we know if we have more than four of them? After all, four is legal, but five makes you a criminal.  What counts as four? And is it dogs, cats, rabbits? What? What if I have one dog, two cats, and two rabbits that are all female? That makes five. Do I need to worry about a APHIS SWAT team knocking on my doorstep? Not to worry assures the bureaucrat. Dr. Rushin who knows zippo about breeding dogs: "We will determine a breeding female dog by our determination if its a breeding female. If we think it has a capacity to be bred, it's a breeding female."  Yeah, we are just gonna eyeball it and if we think it can get knocked up, you're a criminal.  Get ready for the fines and sanctions.

For my Constitutionally minded friends, Read it and laugh your ass off. I'm sure Jefferson is turning in his grave.
"A number of commenters stated that any change to the definition of retail pet store that subjects their homes to possible unannounced government inspections for AWA compliance violates their Fourth Amendment rights against unlawful search and seizure. Section 2146 of the AWA explicitly authorizes inspections of licensees to determine compliance with the AWA. However, such inspections are limited to only those areas that impact the well-being of the animals, such as areas where food and medicine for the animals are stored."  Dear APHIS Idiots, just because an American has animals in their home does not mean you get to raid them and search "selected" parts of their home.  The Fourth Amendment covers all of their home.  All of it.  Capeesh?  You can't just search the kitchen because they store their dog food there.  Nice try though!

What I thought was a nice move, was the admission that the APHIS Inspectors starting 60 days from now plan on calling, emailing and contacting all listed Internet puppy sales ads and ask them questions about their puppies in order to trap the seller in to an admission that they should have a USDA license under this new law.  Now these callers have no intentions of buying a puppy, cat, or rabbit, or other small exotic animal, they just want to ask searching questions about you to determine if they can come and raid you.  Yeah, that's called entrapment.  It falls right into the APHIS Request for Proposal they put out a while back asking for bids from data harvesting companies to track down all pet breeders on the internet and screen them for size.  Big Brother wants your Puppy.

But don't you worry, all illegitimate and fly by night rescue scammers selling sick dogs imported from foreign countries continue to be absolutely exempt from the law.  No standards of care for them, no siree.   The funny thing is, in order to protect the public "welfare" they threw in everything but the kitchen sink, one of which was the fact that this rule will protect the public from rabies.  Really?  Just how the hell will it do that?   Its rescue scammers that are bringing in rabid animals into the United States and infecting unsuspecting "adopters" not legitimate dog breeders.

As one last nice touch, Dr. Rushin, a clueless bureaucrat with 18 years of pencil pushing experience, repeatedly said that all people who think they might be covered under this new law should call him up and tell him all about their "business model" so he can write it all down and determine if you get a raid truck or not.   Isn't that nice of him?  Yeah, you probably don't know, Dr. Rushin is a lawyer.  Now do you really want to be telling him all your private business?

American Pet Breeders need stand up and refuse to take it.  Period.  End of story.  Prohibition failed because people refused to comply.  No reaching out to Dr. Rushin to "explain your business model" to him as he requested. You do not call government raiders and tell them your business!!! If you do, you are an idiot who deserves to be raided. Draw your line in the sand and say, no more!  You want to license me and force me to remove my dogs from my home and store them in a concrete kennel then run a drone over my house and PROVE how many dogs, cats, or rabbits are here. Otherwise, get out of my life.  Americans need to say, "My dog will sit on my sofa if she damned well wants too and no government bureaucrat is going to stop her."

The Virginia Federation of Dog Clubs and Breeders said it best.  "9-10 is the 9-11 of dog breeders."
