Justice is a Dish best served Cold

Stunning and truly outstanding news has recently come out of Accomack County, Virginia with the announcement that a vegan animal rights extremist and dog thief was finally sentenced to jail for dog theft. It's about time that these criminals are treated right. Bettina Cuce Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 55 days suspended, forcing her to have to serve 5 days in jail. 

 

It couldn't have happened to a more deserving woman. 

Rodriquez and her extremist pals are part of a circle jerk of disreputable animal rescue operators shilling for your cash to pay their mortgages and dog thieves traveling from as far away as Michigan to hit Virginia's eastern shore and steal dogs out of innocent people's yards.

Vegan shoe sales pimp Rodriquez whined that it was "cold" and she thought the dog was gonna die.  Cry me a little yuppie river honey.   If it goes below 50 degrees these entitled cupcakes break out the mittens and parka.   It's the eastern shore of Virginia.  You just ain't seen cold weather.  REAL cold weather.  Never in a New York minute is this area of the country actually cold.  Really actually COLD.   It's front page news if a single snow flake ever falls in that area.  The stolen dog in question was a pit bull already wearing a fur coat that Mother Nature gave him at birth.  It was just fine.  Rodriquez who works as an "event planner" is not a veterinarian and has no medical degree.  She doesn't have the right to trespass on other people's property and make life or death decisions based upon her Walt Disney view of animals.  She has no education in dogs.   Just because she has "good intentions" is not good enough.  Not nearly good enough.  

But, but, but Rodriquez whined, she complained to animal control and they did nothing.....  They did nothing because there was nothing to do.  The dog was just fine.  It was not dying, it was not starving, it was just fine.  It was Rodriquez with her celebrity beliefs who was bang out of control, not the dog's owner.  

"The group further “complicated matters” by speeding away when confronted by a neighbor of the dog’s owner, handing the animal off to others to get rid of the evidence, and then lying to police when their truck was pulled over near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, Lewis said. Whether their intentions were good did not matter.

“Motive cannot excuse, nor does it legally justify, criminal activity,” the judge said. He said the defendants needed to be punished for what they did, but he also wanted to deter others from doing the same."

Locals in the area are pretty fed up with yuppies coming from across the Bay to attack them over their pets. The Judge in this case also had had enough. Rodriquez has continuously stonewalled authorizes as to where she dumped the stolen dog other than to say the dog is still alive. If she knows more than a year after the theft, where the dog is, "Rodriguez would not disclose the dog’s whereabouts other than to say he is living with a rescue family and is healthy and happy," then she needs to serve even more jail time.  

Five days is not nearly enough. 

Her crocodile tears to the media are not real true remorse for her actions.    There is no one's word but hers that the dog is still alive.   This is PETA's territory and these activists have a long history of dog theft and death.  I wonder if this entitled little princess is going to sue the jail next if she's not served vegan meals?  Stay tuned.  

Meanwhile, one of the animal rights vigilantes who was involved in this case and also accused of stealing dogs, Chuck Gordon and his wife Debra, have moved to the Winchester area at the opposite end of Virginia.   Residents of that county would be wise to be very wary of any cases of dogs suddenly "missing" out of their yards.  They are more than likely, stolen.  

A Retail Rescue Circle in Virginia

It is common knowledge that the Commonwealth of Virginia is an animal rights strong hold. One of the rapid pockets in the state is the eastern shore. From PETA's death chambers in Norfolk to the worlds only "chicken rights" group, to a Peter Singer groupie, to convicted dog thief Tammy Grimes, who now lives in Michael Vick's former home. We got them all. Bring us your tired, your crazy, your every day wack-a-doodles. Animal rights extremists hate it when I tell people that pound for pound, the Commonwealth of Virginia has the most nutbags per square inch of any state. Well, we beat California most times. That's probably because a number of ex-Californians now live here. They brought their madness with them. Don't you love people who ruined their own state, then they move to yours and want to do the same?

Recently I have been covering a situation in which a circle of vigilantes were caught brazenly stealing a dog and then running over a witness in their haste to get out of the crime scene with the evidence. When I published my first article, it was hit with an attack wave by a bunch of angry people. Then I followed that up with another story that into the backgrounds of some of those people attacking me and their friends. But as I was publishing this story, even more information was coming out about this circle of vigilantes.

The first issue you need to be aware of is a term called Retail Rescue. Animal "rescue" groups are today's modern pet stores. Activists have outlawed and destroyed so many dog breeders across America that it is now harder to find some purebred dog breeds. In their place, these same activists have lobbied for exemptions in the law for their activities. They don't pay taxes, they have no accountability and they are exempt from most laws governing proper housing, disease control, food, water, etc. for animals. Every animal they sell off has a fake sob story attached to it and Americans everywhere are falling for it and enriching these people. They say, "But our shelters are full! They are full of animals dumped by uncaring owners. We need your help!" What they don't say is that many of these groups are now importing hundreds of thousands of foreign dogs to resell off. They are also importing tens of thousands dogs from other states, but watch the flow of animals all the way back to its source.

For example: There is a huge pipeline in Georgia that imports foreign dogs, then ships bulk loads of them to the Northeast to be resold as "saved from a southern high kill shelter."  One shelter in particular imports poodles and shitzu's from the Bahamas, everyone of them "saved" from something.  Then they get shipped through one animal rescue group after another, transported across state lines and washed through other groups until the final destination.  Once there, it is impossible to track the origins of the dog.  

There is another huge pipeline in Alabama in which "foster" homes are deliberately breeding mixed breed mutts to be shipped north through rescue pipelines as "saved from a southern breeder who dumped them."  That pipeline from Alabama mainly goes to the north eastern states but it also goes to Florida.  Just two days ago a shipment of 200 small breed dogs and puppies were shipped to Florida for resale.  The pilots donate their flying time and airplanes for free, yet another group of people who have fallen for the same. Yet it is all a scam. All of it. But what does this have to do with Accomack County and the stolen dog case? 

It has everything to do with it. That stolen dog in Accomack has now more than likely been hidden in the retail rescue trade to be sold off for all tax free profit to a new owner with a sad back story hanging around its neck about how it was "saved" from horrific conditions with a cruel and abusive owner in the background.

One of the women involved in this case is Shocky Boyajian. Besides being connected to Wags for Warriors which is operating in Virginia illegally, she is also part of the "Paws to the Rescue" group. She helps coordinate transports of private volunteers around American who drive bulk shipments of animals from unknown sources all around this country to be resold through retail rescue groups. These Good Samaritans think that they are helping "solve" a problem. They don't know that they are being taken advantage of. 

Boyajian is also the Virginia State Coordinator for "Mama's On the Move" yet another Retail Rescue pet shipper outfit with over 1,400 people working for the group. I checked out their Facebook page just briefly and it was filled a dozen posts of oceans of donated goods. Listings of transports to resell dogs as far north as New York and that was just a cursory look. Like I said, massive amounts of money is being made in the Retail Rescue Trade and its all off the books profit. There is a very good chance that the stolen dog from Accomack is already in New York and resold to a new owner.

Boyajian is also a Vice President of "Forever Home Rescue and Rehabilitation Center," yet another retail rescue outlet in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When I checked out their website, they had 16 dogs for sale.

On January 15th, just one day after news broke about the Rodriguez and Boyajian arrests, Marion County terminated it's relationship with Paws to the Rescue because they haven't provided an accounting of their funds for three years now.

"The county has given Paws to the Rescue, which runs the county's animal shelter, until today, Thursday Jan. 15, to provide them with an audit of the shelter's finances."

You see Marion County has done what many localities have done. They outsourced the running of their animal shelter to a private group. Private groups love these arrangements because they get tax payer money given to them to "run" the shelter and they get a never ending source of animals to resale, off the books, to their own friends running Rescue Retail groups around the country.  This retail rescue group came out whining that they couldn't provide them with any information on their finances because the county refused to pay them $10,000 for it.

Of course the news stories were peppered with outraged activists claiming that dogs and cats were going to die if Marion County didn't reinstate Paws to the Rescue. Right. They are just whining at the loss of free income.  Paws to the Rescue is also in trouble with the South Carolina Secretary of State.

"The office says the shelter missed its annual financial report deadlines in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013; it also missed its registration statement deadline in 2011, altogether costing the shelter $9,800 in fines. That's money some say could have gone to the shelter's animals."

As for the three wanted in the Accomack County dog theft case, Gordon Shell is still wanted on an outstanding warrant.  Don't worry, he knows there is a warrant for his arrest.  He's just too busy giving interviews, Tweeting, posting on Facebook, and "negotiating" through his lawyer to bother to surrender.  In fact, while he's off pandering to his fan base, one of his supporters has now started a legal defense fund to pay his legal costs over stealing an innocent families dog.  

Me Thinks Someone in Accomack Doeth Protest Too Much

Just over 24 hours ago I wrote an article about a case of vigilantism in Accomack County, Virginia.  A case in which a group of animal rights extremists were caught stealing a dog out of a yard.  The article was cross posted to a Facebook page that is run in support of a dog that was stolen and killed by PETA supporters.  

You'd think that would be a favorable audience but it turns out that the Facebook page is heavily watched by animal rights activists and boy were they pissed.  They were furious at my original article and came out swinging to defend the poor innocents I had allegedly attacked.  I won't even go into the side-bar fallacy of "vegan shoes."  As if stuffing our landfills with plastic for the next 100 years is some how good for the planet. 

Now lets keep some names straight in this situation.  The people involved in the elderly man's raid which I briefly mentioned in my article were as listed below:  Kathleen Cuce posted and said her sister Kristina Cuce was involved, so were "Shocky" Boyajian, Susan Maizel, Bettina Cuce' Rodriguez, and Debra K. Gordon.  Again, I wasn't there but I'm going off what they are posting on the internet about their own activities.   You know what?  I'm going to take them at their word. 

To rephrase my first article, the Sheriff stated that it was some of the people at this elderly man's raid who were involved in a second incident in which someone stole a dog out of a yard.   When my article was posted, immediately the pitchforks came out and I was attacked by a circle of vitriolic people. The posts were whinny foot stomping petulant temper-tantrum throwing in feel.  I was highly amused.  Check out this one from "Motley Mutts." 

Now the point of my article was the stolen dog.  It was not the raid of the elderly man.  But these people are attacking me and focusing on side issues to redirect attention away from the present whereabouts of the stolen dog.  A completely separate issue.   So is Motley Mutts admitting that they knew where the stolen dog was?  And potentially the dog was on public property so that justifies the theft?  Just what is Adam Mayo trying to say here?    In fact the attacks continued with two posters trying to slander my name and another posted the following about me: 

Thanks Jennifer!  You had me chuckling for hours.  Yes it is true, I have 30 negative reviews on my first book about animal rights extremists.  You got me there.   But what you aren't saying is... those 30 negative reviews are from animal rights wack-jobs trying to keep people from reading my work about them.   Not one of those people actually bought a book and was then saying they didn't like it.  But let's get back to the subject at hand, namely the STOLEN DOG.  

Now I wondered who are these people attacking me so much over reporting on a stolen dog.  Besides Mr. Motley Mutts, a Susan Maizel just doesn't want to give up.  But wait.  Motley Mutts isn't done.  He objects to the term "pet thief" and he prefers the term "neglected animal liberator."  How about we just call it Larceny?  After all that's what the Sheriff calls it. 

In fact, his best friend, Bettina Cuce' Rodriguez says she doesn't like how the Sheriff runs animal control.   Because making her career as an "event planner" means she has so much experience to make that judgement, right? 

So just who is Motley Mutts?  I mean if we are going to get off in side issues lets explore those weeds.  Motley Mutts is the name of a business owned by Adam Mayo.  A dog washing business.  A business that has some negative reviews from people accusing him of running a stinky business, an employee twerking the customers, and then there's the missing Chihuahua.  Yeah, they just lost a "client."  He is also the head of a pie in the sky rescue by the name of Wags for Warriors along with his best friend, Bettina Cuce' Rodriguez.

So what is Wags for Warriors? Their stated goal is to provide service dogs to veterans. Sounds great right? But to get this they are going to "adopt puppies and young dogs." Ah, that’s not how you get a service dog. Service dogs are specially bred for certain characteristics and temperament qualities. A few shelter dogs can learn to be a service dog but not many of them.  Most flunk service dog training.  He states, "All dogs will be provided by shelters, rescue organizations, and the SPCA." Again, most of these dogs will not become good service dogs.  He also wants to have a staff of trainers knowledgeable in various dog breeds.  Again, most dogs in shelters are mutts, not breeds.  But in the meantime while he's working on training them, he'll be living off the money that clueless members of the public send him.  In other words, he has hitched his wagon to the #RetailRescue train and is looking to cash in.  For those not familiar with Retail Rescue, let me give you one hint.  The animal "rescue" field is coining new millionaires like Warren Buffet makes stock dividends.



Now his goal is…. To build a "state of the art facility."   With the money you give him, he will, "acquire property with a care takers house on site to be occupied by the head care taker." IE: Him. He also wants to build a second house on the property he buys with the money you give him.  Plus he wants a stable.  What a nice racket.  I wish people would give me enough money to buy land, build two houses, and hell all I have to do is provide some dogs to be service animals?  Hell I already did that as a purebred dog breeder.  That's what WE do.  And no one gifts us with land and houses when we do it or has big fundraisers for us.  He also has trucks and T-shirts.

Then comes the awesome news that Sheriff Godwin has started making a round of arrests in the stolen dog case.  The first arrested was Charlene S. Boyajian, who was charged with larceny of a dog.  I wonder what relation she is to: "Shocky" Boyajian?  Or are they the same woman?  Next to hit the slammer was Bettina Cuce' Rodriguez.   The Sheriff also has an outstanding warrant for Gordon Shell.  Gordon Shell is an animal rights activist and publicity hound from Michigan that drove down to Virginia with the goal of helping Motley Mutts with the situation involving the elderly man raided.  Whether or not he and his accomplices had pre-planned the dog theft is a matter for Sheriff Godwin.  

Bringing that circle jerk of activists right back around, Gordon Shell is shilling for Wags for Warriors on his Facebook page.

I'm guessing that Bettina Cuce' Rodriguez is really not liking how the Sheriff runs things right about now.   As for Adam Mayo not liking the term "pet thief" how about criminal?  Like that better?

The real question is, where is the stolen dog?  And just how much money has Wags for Warriors pulled in to put in Rodriguez and Mayo's pockets?  Inquiring minds would like to know. 

Vigilantism in Accomack Virginia

Over the last several years accounts of stolen dogs have sky rocketed. Most cases involve vigilante animal rights activists and pet resellers/pet flippers who make a living reselling stolen animals. In both cases, the people involved claim they "rescued" the animal from its owner. In both cases, these self-described do-gooders are criminals.  In this article, I'm here to discuss recent cases of stolen dogs in Virginia and one incident in particular.  

The first thing that you need to realize is that the Commonwealth of Virginia is an animal rights terrorist strong hold.   These criminals are everywhere.  From local animal control positions, to the State Veterinarians Office, to the State Attorney General's Office to many times the Governor's position.  They also control many members of the Virginia Legislature.  Then there are dozens of freelance activist groups operating all over the state, last but not least is PETA's death chambers in Norfolk.  They control the entire state and cause misery to Virginians everywhere.  But more and more the people of Virginia have had it.  Seriously had it.  And they are fighting back. 

Accomack County exploded recently with the news that PETA had been caught yet again stealing and killing dogs.  This is nothing new for PETA, they've been caught illegally killing animals before and went on trial in 2007.   In the recent case of Maya the Chihuahua, they admitted to killing her and offered her owner a fruit basket in compensation.  But Accomack County rose up and said, No More.  Their Sheriff, Todd Godwin, rose up and said, No More.  He arrested the two PETA killers only to watch a lame and wimpy DA drop the charges.  The people of Accomack County were furious.  They protested, they petitioned, they organized, they haven't given up.

What they have also done is to start neighborhood watches to track these vigilante's in action, never knowing they'd catch someone famous while doing so.  On a quiet Sunday afternoon, the news exploded that an activist had stolen a dog yet again.  With baited breath we waited for the news and it was explosive. 

On Sunday afternoon, three animal rights vigilantes were out in a rented U-Haul looking for dogs to steal. Cruising down Matthews Road:

"I seen a U-Haul truck coming this way, it locked up the brakes, and they ran up in this yard right here, grabbed the dog, ran back to the U-Haul truck, opened the door, threw the dog in there, and got in the truck and left," said eye-witness Travis Shreavers.

He wasn't the only witness to the crime, Sonny Hall saw it as well and confronted the two women and a man in the U-Haul as they were leaving with the stolen dog.

"She looked right at me, turned it at me and just gunned it and ran right towards me. Which I had to jump to get out of the way, and when they did, they clipped my foot, ran over my foot with the vehicle," Hall said. 

The U-Haul with a vigilante at the wheel took off with the stolen dog and the chase was on. The police were called and thanks to an airplane pilot and others tracking them, the U-Haul was stopped just before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel but it was empty.  The dog thieves had managed to stop and dump the dog somewhere along the way.

When the police interviewed the dog owner they found out that these vigilantes had been stalking him and just two days earlier had offered him $200 for his dog.  He turned down the offer.  He didn't want their money.  He wanted his dog.  

Now at this point, Sheriff Godwin hasn't released the names of the vigilante dog thieves that his officers interviewed when they pulled over the U-Haul other than to say it was not PETA, but he did say an interesting thing.  He said these two women were present at a raid of a 75 year old man that had just occurred the week before. 

"We think it's the same group — matter of fact, we think it's the same women," Godwin said.

"They have no legal right to take a dog....You cannot go on people's property and steal people's dogs. We will not tolerate it," Godwin said.

Intrigued, I looked up the story of the elderly man who was raided and found three names in the media stories of people who were on the elderly man's property.  Animal rights activists Jayanne Walker, Kristina Cuce, and Jim Mason.  Those are curious names.  Let me tell you who two of the three are. 

Jim Mason is an animal rights lawyer with a quote from the Butcher of Norfolk Ingrid Newkirk of PETA front and center on his website.  In the animal rights terrorist world, he's a rock star.  He wrote a book back in 1980 called "Animal Factories" co-authored with Peter Singer.  Peter Singer is a notorious animal extremist sometimes called the father of the animal rights movement.  Others have called him The Most Dangerous Man In The World Today.  He advocates for no animal use at all.  You can't eat them, you can't wear them, you can't own them, you can't be entertained by them.  Though interesting enough, he doesn't object if you have sex with them.  Under his teachings, you cannot own a dog.   No pets for you!   He also recommends that handicapped people and sick babies should be killed because they are a burden on the human race.  Jim Mason isn't just a follower of this kook, he co-wrote a book with him!  Jim Mason was inducted into the Animal Rights Hall of Fame and has his own page on the website for the Animal Liberation Front (ALF), one of the top domestic terrorist organizations in America today.  If you don't believe me, see what the FBI has to say about ALF.  

Jim Mason also is a member of a group called The Two Mauds Foundation that gives "grants" to fellow animal groups and has been an Advisory Board member of United Poultry Concerns, the worlds only group devoted solely to "chicken rights." Yes, Jim Mason advocates for rights for chickens. He referenced this group and it's founder in his key note speech at the 2003 Animal Rights Conference when he talked about how animals are "slaves" of humans and he feels this is wrong.  In fact, he even feels that dogs are wrong because they are nothing more than deformed wolves that we have subjected to our will.

His pal, the President of United Poultry is even wackier than he is.  From my recent book on animal rights terrorism, his fellow wacktivist is happy that America was bombed by terrorists on 9/11 because many of the dead were meat eaters.  

Karen Davis, the President of United Poultry Concerns outraged the public when she claimed that the September 11th terrorist attack on the United States "reduced the amount of suffering in the world" because many of those who were killed probably ate chicken.

Besides Mason, another person who was there at the scene of an animal raid was Kristina Cuce. Cuce and her sister own a vegan 100% "animal free" shoe line called Cuce Shoes that targets professional and college level sports team fans. Amazingly enough, Kristina Cuce does not appear to have a Facebook page, but her sister Kathleen does and it is Kathleen that brags about taking the dogs away from the elderly man. She has a GoFundMe link on her page begging for $10,000 for the dogs.  Not for the man of course, for the dogs and of course, any other dogs that come her way. 

On her page she talks with a friend about being ready and standing by to go and raid the elderly man. Her pal and cohort, Bettina Cuce' Rodriguez, is Facebook friends with Nathan Winograd, an animal rights lawyer and author.  So who was at the raid?  Kristina or Kathleen?  Or both?  They are after all, twins.  

Here's a question for you.  Why are activists of this caliber participating in animal raids?  Why is a celebrity shoe designer (or her sister, or both) on site at an elderly man's home to celebrate taking his dogs away from him?  Why couldn't she help him provide better care to his dogs? Wouldn't that be the more humane thing to do?   What about that Ten Grand she's trying to raise?  Why couldn't she have used money like that to help and assist the elderly instead of destroying their lives?  Why is an animal rights lawyer and author on the property of an elderly man celebrating his destruction?  Was all his staff out sick that day?  And was Mason the mysterious man that one witness places in the U-Haul at the time the dog was stolen?  Of this circle jerk of zealots, who exactly was in that U-Haul?  Inquiring minds think there is so much more to this story.  I hope Sheriff Godwin can ferret it out!  It is long past time that these extremists are put back in the corner where they belong.  Virginians deserve better.
